Sustainability is at the core of Sustainable Dream Travel. As a travel agency, I am aware that traveling has an impact on the planet. That is why I do everything in my power to organize trips that cause as little damage as possible to nature, local communities and the environment. My goal is to make a positive contribution, both for you as a traveler and for the world we discover together.
Sustainable transport
I choose transportation options that reduce the carbon footprint. Where possible, I recommend train travel over air travel, and for local travel, I work with transportation companies that offer sustainable and local choices, such as bicycles, electric vehicles, or trains.
Environmentally responsible accommodations
The properties I select are carefully chosen based on their sustainability practices. This means, for example, that they operate energy-efficiently, use renewable energy sources, encourage water conservation and work with local suppliers to support the regional economy.
Local involvement and culture
At Duurzame Droomreizen I attach great importance to supporting local communities. I work together with local guides, entrepreneurs and organizations that respect and protect the culture and nature of their region. This ensures that the benefits of tourism directly benefit the local population.
Minimal impact on nature
Nature is our greatest treasure, and it is important that we treat it with respect. That is why I select destinations and activities that have minimal impact on the environment, and encourage travelers to enjoy nature responsibly by following the Leave No Trace principles.
